The house is situated on the main A701 road into town from the South and is only 1 mile from Princess street, and is a 10 minute drive from the City bypass (exit Straiton Junction).

The house is also on the main bus route providing access to any part of the City & its many and varied attractions.

The Royal Commonwealth pool and Leisure Centre is a mere five minute walk from the Guest House and another few minutes takes you into Holyrood Park and the more energetic may wish to venture to the top of Arthur's Seat, Edinburgh's famous volcanic hill.

From here there are wonderful panoramic views of the City and Forth River and the famous Forth Rail and Road Bridges.
